Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Trafora Training LLC ("Trafora," "we," "us," or "our"), a Minnesota limited liability company. By downloading, accessing, or using the Trafora mobile application or any associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of the platform following notice of changes constitutes your acceptance.

2. Description of Services

Trafora is a coaching platform that connects clients with professional leadership coaches for individual coaching sessions, multi-session coaching packages, and speaking engagements. Services are delivered via video call (Zoom) or, for speaking engagements, in person or virtually as agreed.

Current services offered through the platform include:

  • Leading Wholly Clarity Session — 60-minute individual coaching session ($397)
  • 1-on-1 Coaching Session — 60-minute individual coaching session ($7,500)
  • Coaching Package — multi-session package (pricing disclosed at booking)
  • Speaking Engagement — keynote or workshop, pricing available upon inquiry

3. Important Disclaimer — Coaching is Not Therapy

Coaching services provided through Trafora are professional development and leadership development services only. Coaching is not therapy, psychotherapy, counseling, mental health treatment, or a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Nathan Murfield holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, attorney, or financial advisor. Nothing communicated during coaching sessions or through the Trafora platform should be construed as clinical, therapeutic, legal, or financial advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require medical, legal, or financial guidance, please consult a qualified licensed professional.

4. Booking and Payment

4.1 Authorization and Capture

When you submit a booking request, your payment method will be authorized for the full session amount. Your card will not be charged until your session is confirmed by the coach. If the coach is unable to confirm your requested time, the authorization will be released and no charge will occur.

4.2 Stripe Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. Trafora does not store your card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment data on its servers. By submitting payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Card data is encrypted and handled solely by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

4.3 Pricing

All prices are displayed in US dollars. Trafora reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time; changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Client-Initiated Cancellation

You may cancel a confirmed session subject to the following policy:

  • More than 72 hours before the scheduled session start time: full refund of the amount captured.
  • Within 72 hours of the scheduled session start time: no refund. The session fee is forfeited.
  • Pending (unconfirmed) bookings: may be cancelled at any time at no charge. Any authorization hold will be released within 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer.

5.2 Coach-Initiated Cancellation

If the coach cancels a confirmed session for any reason, you will receive a full refund of any captured amount within 5–10 business days.

5.3 Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary by card issuer and are outside Trafora’s control.

5.4 Package Credits

Coaching package credits are non-transferable and may not be shared between clients or redeemed for cash. Unused credits expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Trafora will send a reminder notice prior to expiration. Expired credits are non-refundable.

6. Coach-Client Relationship

The coaching relationship is a professional collaboration aimed at supporting your personal and professional development. The coach will work in good faith to support your stated goals; however, Trafora and its coaches make no guarantee of specific outcomes, results, promotions, performance improvements, or other benefits arising from coaching.

You agree to engage honestly and in good faith, to complete any agreed-upon commitments between sessions, and to take responsibility for your own decisions and actions. The coach is not responsible for decisions you make or actions you take as a result of coaching.

7. Intellectual Property

All content provided through the Trafora platform — including session frameworks, assessments, written materials, and the Leading Wholly methodology — is the intellectual property of Trafora Training LLC and Nathan Murfield. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize any such content without prior written consent.

Session notes entered into the platform by the coach remain confidential and are owned by the coach. You retain ownership of information you share during sessions but grant Trafora a limited license to store and process it for the purpose of delivering services.

8. Confidentiality

Trafora and its coaches will hold in confidence all information you share during coaching sessions. Session notes, commitments, and summaries stored on the platform are accessible only to you and the coach.

Coaches may use aggregated, anonymized insights from coaching engagements for professional development and content creation purposes; no personally identifiable information will be disclosed.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse coaches or other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

Trafora reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these standards without refund.

10. Third-Party Services

Trafora integrates with the following third-party services to deliver its platform:

  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing
  • Zoom Video Communications, Inc. — video sessions
  • Supabase, Inc. (hosted on Amazon Web Services) — data storage and authentication
  • Resend — transactional email delivery

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Trafora is not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party providers.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TRAFORA TRAINING LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND COACHES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

In no event shall Trafora’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms exceed the total amount paid by you to Trafora in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Hennepin County, Minnesota, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

13. Modifications to Terms

Trafora reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, by notifying you via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
